Caulking

Caulking/Sealants are used to provide protection from intrusion of moisture or air into a structure.  Sealants are designed to adhere to specific substrates as well as expand and contract to allow movement in the joint without rupture.  Sealants are commonly used in control joints and in any transition between different substrates (example: brick to aluminum in the case of windows).

Common Sealant Joints Include:

    * Control Joints
    * Window Perimeters
    * Doors and Flashings
    * Transitions between different substrates
